Toran Mallow wrote: If you install the game through Steam, can you convert later to using the standalone, non-Steam version? Only if you do a character transfer. This (used to be at least) is the only way, afaik.

rockets, cloak, probe launcher. double scram, ab, web dps or tanking lows and rigs, depending on what is preferred. I would go dps.

3. Alpha Hauler - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Use the miasmos. And disregard Arthurs 'advice' obviously... Rigs for tank or agility. Try to keep the cargo value low.. I guess under 200 mill or so is fairly safe. Never autopilot.

4. How to give an alpha clone some isk after creation without logging? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
the easiest way is to log in your main and send the isk. All other ways are more complex. But really... creating all the alphas, then log in your main - one time- and send isk to all of them is not much work.

5. Manticore fit - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
make sure to negate problems with explosion radius (rigs, skills, plugs, tp). Maybe a faction point to be able to keep range. Maybe tracking disruptor. Or, if hunting hackers only, use rockets.

6. Orca + Prospect for "extended roam" gas harvesting? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
maybe bring a drake or something to clear sleeper spawn. And maybe a dessie for salvage. Should all fit in the orca i think. And if you have more than 2 omega accounts, bring more scouts. Hole control is key.

12. Relic and Data Sites in WH Space with a Loki - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
unless you plan on salvaging, stick to the pirate relic and data sites (c1 - c2 only i belive). And you do it just as fast in a cheetah. And the occasional lossmail is a bit lighter.

All the coolness with black ops aside... moving a T3 to null is not extremely hard. Covert ops, interdiction nullifier and maybe even a couple warp stabs should make your odds fairly good. Then bring a mobile depot and subsystems/modules for ref...

Hello, Can someone here please give me some info on what is required to take down an Astrahus. It is located in a wh, and seems unprotected. Either ballpark number and type/class of ships, or required DPS would be great. Thanks
